Classic design is my passion, from mid-century Danish to modern architecture. Throughout all forms of design and communication, the message is the same — the work should speak for itself and be easily understood. Effective creative, clearly delivered. I take the complex (marketing initiatives, etc.) and design a solution that easily conveys the brand — through print and digital communications. In essence, designing is part of my core and who I am.

I have had the pleasure of working for both agencies and client-side global organizations, from delivering a brand audit to rebranding a global business communications company. I’ve worked with many sectors, including associations, not-for-profits, high end residential housing, Crown corporations, and government organizations. Over the years, I have specialized in brand development and management, having created brand guidelines for many companies including Mitel, CMHC, FPAC, Correctional Service Canada, Farm Boy and Bridgewater Systems.

My work has been published in internationally recognized awards publications including Communication Arts Design Annual, Applied Arts Design Annual, Graphis Annual Reports, Black Book AR100, and RGD’s Design@Work. One project of note was published in “Information Design Workbook: Graphic approaches, solutions, and inspiration + 30 case studies” by Kim Baer.

I love working with people and thrive on client service, partnerships and collaboration. Input from clients and team members are paramount to a successful end result. Ideas can come from anyone at any time, and always lead to a better product.

Education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of Ottawa and a Graphic Design diploma from Algonquin College.
